This book explains lots of weapons and tools invented by military or private company.
These include satellite navigation, canned food, microwave oven, aqua lung, internet and so on.
It was easy to read because each section is very short.
Here are my memo:
- microwave oven was invented by coincidence in radar development.
- SCUBA is Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.
