やーーーっとこ読み終えました。
四ヶ月近く掛かってしまった…。まー、途中サボってましたし。
が、短編集だったのが救い。途中からでも話に復帰しやすかったです。
この方の作品、訳された状態で面白いんですから、原書が面白くない訳が無いですよね。
のっけからドキドキさせてくれるNEVER STOP ON THE MOTORWAY、「愛の形」を問いかけてくれるOLD LOVE、最後が爽快なTHE STEAL、殺人の罪に陥れられた男の戦いを描くTRIAL AND ERROR、自動車工になろうとした少年がたどった人生は？なA LA CARTEなどなど。
しばらく短編集狙いで行ってみよう。そして、もっと早く読もう。
